Guangzhou diesel engine factory Co.,Ltd is all-capital state-owned enterprise shared by Guangzhou Intelligent Equipment Group Co.,Ltd, and is a special enterprise of manufacturing medium-speed and low-speed diesel engines and gas engines. Our products are not only popular in China, but exported to Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa, South America ,etc. In 2023, <Fortune> issues Global 500, and GIIHG ranked 414th with a revenue of 36.5885 billion US dollars on the list.
Guangzhou diesel engine factory,formerly known as “Hip Tung Wo Machinery factory”, established in 1911, which made the first set of marine diesel engine in 1915, and has the longest history in China diesel engine manufacturing. GDF focuses on revitalizing the national industry, sticks to independent research and development, and the medium-speed engine and gas engine for self-owned brand reach to the world advanced level. GDF and its technical centre is respectively awarded Guangdong Hi-tech Enterprise and Guangdong provincial enterprise technology centre”, and is ranked one of Key equipment manufacturing enterprises of Guangdong province.
GDF is abundance in capital, with registered capital 112.48 million Yuan, by the end of 2021, our company has netasset 88237.40 million Yuan.Now the annual output of medium-speed engine and gas engine is about 400 sets,with power one million kW and the annual sale amount 100 million Yuan.
Main products include medium-speed large power diesel engine, gas engine and generating set.Now GDF has 6 series products:230、320、CS21、G26、G32、230SG, with power from 660kW to 8000 kW. Product performance index, such as fuel oil consumption, vibration, noise etc., reaches to the international advanced level. We also develop engine products with electronically controlled high pressure common rail, which are in leading position. All the product exhaust emission is incompliance with Tier 2 standard. The engine also can be equipped with after-treatment devices to reach Tier 3 emission standard.
GDF used to cooperate with MAK to manufacture engines from 1996, until MAK was acquired by Caterpillar.
As a licensee of MHI, GDF is authorize to produce 2stroke engine up to 15000kW, and now GDF is reputable and high quality engine manufacturer of low speed engine.
Our products are widely applicable to different ships driven main propulsive propeller, main propulsive generating set and auxiliary generating set, and various project devices. The users include many famous corporations, such as the fellow subsidiary of China Communication Construction Group: Guangzhou Dredging company and Tianjin Dredging company, the fellow subsidiary of China Railway Corporation: Guangdong Railway company, the fellow subsidiary of CNOOC: China oil field Services Limited, CNOOC Energy Technology&Services Limited and Offshore Oil Engineering Co.,Ltd. Our products cover all over the country, and export to Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, India and Maldives etc.
GDF has 887 staff consisted ofhigh-qualified management cadre, special technicians and skilled workers. Ourcompany has full capacity to design, develop, produce and maintain, and supply general service during product life.
Our factory area covers138,000 m2 and has general office building, technology centre, machining shop, assembling andtesting shop and warehouse etc. Our company has a series process device and technology,such as casting, machining, assembling and testing. Guangdong Diesel MachineryFoundry Co.,Ltd is our sub-company located in Meizhou, can product large andmedium spheroidal graphite casting and high-quality alloy casting, and has the capacity to produce the high-requirement and complex castings. The machining shop has many high-precise horizontal/vertical/five-face CNC. and the assembly shop can assemble more than 400 sets of engine each year, about one million kW,and the test shop has large-power test bed, advanced measuring devices.
